Books
The RRI books archive brings together research-led public-intellectual work, literary and visual writing, and earlier applied/trade titles.
The current flagship public-intellectual project is The Interpreters / 『해석자들』, which traces the authority to interpret human feeling from religious and diagnostic systems to platforms and algorithms, extending RRI’s work on Affective Sovereignty and Interpretive Authority into public language.
Not every title in this archive carries the same scholarly status. Current research-linked books should be distinguished from earlier public, creative, and applied works.
A narrative nonfiction tracing 3,700 years of interpretive authority over human emotion — from Babylonian priests to diagnostic manuals to algorithmic feeds — asking who holds the final word on what you feel.
